Project #2

My quest for analog sounds continues..
I found some people online who made their own DIY plate reverbs and decided why not? doesn't seem that complicated or expensive. So i source all the parts and put it together. Again, James Cooper was kind enough to help me with the fabrication. It definitely looks the part we will see how its sounds...

  1. To follow up I got the plate working and the results were less than spectacular. My main problem was the tensioning. I could not get the plate tight enough and the sound was not very smooth. I am going to try again with a bigger plate and better tensioning system. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was no where near as noisy as i thought it would be!
